Ok, burton, unchained, 1instripes, biggin, other soccer people more knowledgeable than I, tell me why this will be different and we get the 3 points to advance.

I can't tell you that, but I should be able to. What I really hope is that the sense of urgency and lineup that was on the field in the second half of the Slovenia game is on display for the Algeria game. The problem here could be how dirty Algeria wants to play.

If the US does keep a clean sheet and scores a couple of times early I just hope it doesnt turn into a foul fest.

Hoping they don't give up an early goal like in previous games, it frustrates me for them to get down on **** poor plays and then decide to play like they're capable of...we could do some damage in this World Cup if we played like we can for the whole 90 minutes.

We will win because Algeria has to play balls to the wall to get 3 points, thus opening up opportunities for the USA to score. Algeria doesn't have the luxury of bunkering down/playing defensive soccer,as they have the same urgency we have.

Ditto. IMO if we can't get 3 points from Algeria, we don't belong in the World Cup.

A couple scoring chances early from both sides. Algeria put one off the top bar just a few moments ago.
